4-H Discovery Day

Oakland County Fair Discovery Days

4-H Discovery Day is Saturday May 5, 2012 (usually from 10:00 am – 3:00 pm) at the Oakland County Fair Grounds. Come and see many of the 4-H clubs available in our area. 4-H Discovery Day is an opportunity to discover education through hands on learning activities.

Some activities may require a small fee to cover the cost of supplies.

4-H Fiesta Fundraiser February 25, 2012

Come join in for a fun filled evening with all you can eat taco’s, nacho’s and ice cream bar! Dinner served 5:30-7:00 pm. Silent auction, 50/50 raffles, games, live animals & more! Silent auction bidding closes between 7:15-8:45 pm. Don’t miss out on this fabulous evening! All proceeds raised will go to their premium account to help replace premium money lost to their exhibitors by state budget cuts. Admission/Dinner is $8.00 per person, children under 5 are free.

Parade Company Curriculum Guides
The Parade Company has developed an education program for the Studio Tours Program. Curriculum guides for grades PreK-5 are available for download. These curriculum units are meant to give lesson plan ideas and educational talking points for student before, during and after your tour of the Parade Studio.

Homeschooling Works Spring Book Fair

Homeschooling Works Spring Book Fair is March 17, 2012, 9:30 am – 5:00 pm at William Costic Center, 28600 Eleven Mile Road, Farmington Hills, MI 48336. Admission is $10 per person. Registration at the door. Lunch is available to purchase in the gym.

Due to safety and security standards, strollers, portable shopping carts, crates and wheeled carts of any other description will not be permitted in the vendor hall or used book room.
