Baron’s art reflects her response to psychological and physical peril. Hodge &#038; Temporary Exhibition Gallerie<br />
The exhibition explores Escher&#8217;s famous perspective-bending prints, as well as his lesser-known early works. Examples of preparatory drawings, which allow the viewer to explore the artist&#8217;s process alongside his completed works are also included. Organized by the Portland Art Museum, Oregon, this exhibition includes 80 works of art through themes such as forms in space, experiments in perspective, landscape and fantasy scenes.<br />

18 portraits of the most celebrated artists of the 20th century, created by the Seattle area artist, Jacques Moitoret. Each painting portrays the artist in conjunction with a famous example of his or her work.<br />

<p>M.C. Escher’s art was created using simple math and geometry. Children and caregivers will explore Escher’s artistic tessellations. Participants will take a special guided tour of the current exhibition, <a href="http://flintarts.org/exhibitions_upcoming.html#Escher" target="_blank">M.C. Escher: The Rhythm of Illusion</a>, and learn about the life and work of M.C. Escher. After a light snack, guests will create Escher-like tessellations from their favorite objects, so bring your object along!</p>
<p>Registrations are due by Monday, March 31. Call Franklin Pleasant 810-234-1695 or e-mail fpleasant@flintarts.org. If you are not a member and would like to attend, register now and pay your $5.00 membership dues when you come to the activity.</p>]]></content:encoded>
