Red Oaks Nature Center NatureFit: Winter Survival Saturday, January 30, 2016 2 – 4 p.m. at Red Oaks Nature Center.
Indoors learn about how animals and plants cope with the cold, and then head outdoors to practice some winter survival skills including reading animal tracks, fire building, shelter construction and more. Appropriate for ages 8 and older. This program is also ideal for Scout physical fitness requirements and learning wilderness survival skills. Participants must wear boots.
Cost is $4/person. Pre-registration with payment is required at 248-858-0916 weekdays or 248-585-0100 Saturdays. No refunds. Due to program limitations, walk-in guests may not be accommodated
