In keeping with our strong and growing commitment to jazz education, the Detroit Jazz Fest is partnering with the Charles H. Wright Museum of African American History (MAAH) to present Piecin’ It Together – Jazz, Stories, Kids, Quilts, on July 18, 2008, in the multi-purpose room of the MAAH. The program features vocalist/storyteller Lisa Henry and the Marion Hayden Trio. All are welcome, but note that the program is intended for children ages 2-7. Performance times are 10 AM, noon, and 2 PM. Admission is free, but reservations are a must. For reservations, contact the MAAH at 313-494-5800.
