OHMI Spring Concerts
OHMI (Oakland Homeschool Music) Waterford Branch will be presenting their 9th annual Spring Concert “Music for May” next Monday, May 23rd, 2011 at 7:00pm at Clarkston Community Church. All of the students – Elementary Music, Guitar, Young Strings, Choirs, Bands, and Orchestras, will be performing with a reception following. Need directions? Summer Musical Theatre Class
OHMI – Summer Musical Theatre Class – Hello Dolly! We had such fun last year doing Pirates of Penzance we’re doing another class! What: an 8 week, 3 times/week class (until tech weeks) to teach students musical theatre, including acting, singing, character exploration, choreography, costuming, stage presence, pit orchestra, technical aspects, etc. This year’s show will be Hello Dolly!, a witty and very entertaining story about Dolly Levi, a widow who helps arrange things for the citizens of Yonkers, NY. OHMI enrollment for January
Oakland Homeschool Music is accepting new students for mid-year enrollment in all classes except for Beginning Band & Orchestra, Guitar & Young Strings (unless the student has previous experience). Classes start up again January 5 & 6th, so let us know right away if you are interested in enrolling your students. We have a complete K – 12 music program. We have 2 branches – one in Waterford, and one in Troy. We have 33 weeks of classes, 3 concerts, field trips to professional concerts, go to U of M Vocal Arts Day, have a t-shirt design contest, and get professional photos done of our groups. OHMI Seasonal Concert
Seasonal Concert Oakland Homeschool Music will be presenting a seasonal concert featuring its orchestras, bands and choir. When: Monday, December 15, 2003 at 7:00 p.m. Where: First General Baptist Church of Waterford, 2933 Frembes, Waterford Ages: All ages. Families with younger children are welcome.
