Train to be a Nestbox Monitor Volunteer Sunday, March 8 from 2 – 4 p.m. at Wint Nature Center. Oakland County Parks and Recreation manages nest boxes at several parks for the Eastern Bluebird and other native cavity nesters. Nest boxes are monitored by trained volunteers through the Oakland County Parks and Recreation citizen science program. Volunteers are asked to visit assigned nest boxes weekly from April – July and record activity in the boxes.
