Rochester Chop House and Kabin Kruser’s Oyster Bar
306 Main St
Rochester, MI 48307
248-651-2266
Kabin Kruser’s Oyster Bar is in the front of the building while more formal dining is in the back at the Chop House. As soon as you walk into Kabin Kruser’s, you are transported to another world. Maps grace the walls as jazz plays in the background. On the weekends, a pianist plays live music. What kind of oysters would you like? You get a choice! A don’t miss dish is the panroast. Pick from chicken, lobster, shrimp or a combination of seafood served with rice pilaf. My mouth waters just thinking about their panroast. Warm loaf of bread and butter is brought to the table while you wait for your meal. Excellent salads. The wine selection includes listings from Michigan great wineries. If there was one restaurant in the world I could own, this would be it!
