Curriculum Sale/Swap/Chat Thursday April 10, 2008 At Grace Hills Church in Rochester Hills We’ll be there from 2:00-4:00, come when you can. If you are looking for something specific, feel free to post to the group. Likewise, if you know you’re selling something. If you want to just bring stuff for others to look at (but not sell), that’s great, too. This will be very informal…come when you can, stay as long as you like. If you homeschool with a specific method and are willing to talk to others, let us know. If you just want to come and hang out with us….welcome!

Heraldry Class
Show your true colors at a class on heraldry, the visual language developed during the age of chivalry. Students will design shields with coats of arms that express their personalities, using heraldic symbols. Could be a great fair project! We’ll meet at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, April 17, 2008, at Grace Hills in Rochester. Midsummer Night’s Dream by REACH kids
REACH Homeschool Group Play The kids of REACH Homeschool group are putting on a production of Shakespeare’s Midsummer Night’s Dream. This show is being done by the kids of REACH Homeschool group. They are acting and doing the tech. We are having great fun and hope to be able to share this with as many people as possible. The show is about 90 minutes long (we will have a short intermission) and is appropriate for all ages. Not Back to School Picnic
Just a reminder to add this to your calendar for August 30, 2005. And to let those that are wondering know, we do have quite a number of teens coming, so if you have teens who are wondering if they are the only Homeschool teens around, they can come and meet lots here. The first 15 minutes of our Q &A panel will be some Homeschool teens and Homeschool graduates..they’ll take any questions you want to throw at them! REACH Homeschool Drama Class for fall
REACH Drama Class – Registration is now open! The main part of the class will be putting on a production of Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream. This script is part of the “90 minute Shakespeare” adapted by Diane Timmerman. This script uses the original language of Shakespeare and the original flow of the play but in a shorter time format (90 minutes). Kids ages 5 and up are welcome to participate. The play was specifically chosen to incorporate lots of kids. Even the youngest children can be part of the fairy court. REACH Not Back to School Picnic
Tuesday, August 31, 2004 come and join us for a “Not Back to School Picnic”! While the schools fill up, the park empties! We’ll meet at 11:00 and stay for however long we want. We have reserved the pavilion for our use as well. This is a time for fun and games and celebrating that our kids are home with us. We will also have a designated “Q&A” time (12:30) for those who are new to homeschooling and are looking for a chance to ask questions of experienced homeschool families.
