Homeschool Swim Lessons at Oak Park YMCA
Oak Park YMCA wants to offer swim classes for homeschoolers. For a class, they need at least 4 students. The Aquatics Director is very flexible and would like to have homeschool swim classes. The teacher is very good at working with children of different ages and abilities in the same class. Gotta Dance of Waterford announces winter class offerings Preschool Music Music appreciation for your 4-5 yr old who is not yet doing formal schoolwork. This class is great for those who do not yet know their letters or numbers or need a small class size to feel more comfortable. You will focus on experiencing music and appreciating differences. Foreign language songs, instrument exploration and introduction to the masters is just part of the fun. Class is limited to 4 students and meets weekly for 30 minutes. Winter session lasts 10 weeks. Oakland Homeschool Music is accepting new students for mid-year enrollment in all classes except for Beginning Band & Orchestra, Guitar & Young Strings (unless the student has previous experience). Classes start up again January 5 & 6th, so let us know right away if you are interested in enrolling your students. We have a complete K – 12 music program. Homeschool Class at the Madison Heights Nature Center Here are the upcoming Homeschool Classes at the Madison Heights Nature Center. For the Fall season, the classes are all on the third Thursday of the month from 10:00 A.M. until about 11:30 A.M. These classes are geared for students aged 7-12, but check with Matt (the naturalist) about the ages – as long as they are able to participate. Parental assistance is welcome.
