Homeschool Connections will be hosting a Spelling Bee on Thursday, January 8, 2009 at 2:00 pm. The bee will be held at the Rochester Hills Public Library and all homeschoolers in Oakland or Macomb Counties are welcome to participate. The winner will go on to represent homeschoolers at the Oakland County Regional Scripps Spelling Bee. Any homeschooler in the 5th through 8th grade is welcome to participate. They also welcome younger students to participate, although they are not eligible to proceed to the Regional Spelling Bee. Their words will be chosen from age-appropriate lists.
