Homeschool Tennis Royal Oak
The company that runs all the park and rec tennis for Royal Oak, Clawson, Ferndale and other surrounding neighborhoods is offering homeschool tennis classes at their Royal Oak location (over by Royal Oak High School):
Pee Wee (4-5 year olds)
Wednesdays 1-1:45 from 5/11 through 6/15 $54.00
Quickstart (6-8 yo): this is instructional on Wednesdays with optional match tennis (free) on 3 Saturdays TBD
Wednesdays 1:45-2:45 from 5/11 through 6/15 $85.00
QuickStart (9-11 yo) same description as above
Wednesdays 2:45-3:45 from 5/11 through 6/15 $85.00
They use right size balls, rackets etc. and for QuickStart – they modify the court size for matches. Anyone who is familiar with small sided soccer games – it is a very similar application of that to tennis – Great for kids!
